1. Using Scripta
By creating an account or using Scripta, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Scripta on behalf of an institution or organization, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Your content
You retain full ownership of everything you write in Scripta. We don't claim any rights to your documents, and we don't use your private documents to train AI models. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you upload or import.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Scripta to violate any law, infringe someone else's rights, or disrupt the service for other users. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that put the platform or other users at risk.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Downgrading or cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't offer partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur; we'll communicate meaningfully disruptive changes in advance where possible.
6. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
